Elizabeth Brasler is a director, acting teacher and coach. Originally from New York, Liz has been directing for over 30 years. Liz has been the Theatre Director at Agoura High School, CHAMPS Charter High School of the Arts and El Camino Real Charter High School. Liz is founding faculty at the Performing Arts Education Centers at Las Virgenes Unified School District. An award-winning theatre educator, Liz’s students have won over 50 educational theatre awards and under her direction have been accepted to the best conservatories and university theatre programs in the world. Some favorite shows Liz has directed include All My Sons and The Crucible by Arthur Miller, Rumors and Fools by Neil Simon, You Can’t Take it With You by Kaufman and Hart, Don’t Drink the Water by Woody Allen, Godspell by Stephen Schwartz, A Chorus Line by Dante, Kirkwood and Hamlish, Almost Maine by John Cariani and Killing Russell Crowe by Jeremy Kehoe, which had its west coast premiere at the GRT many moons ago. Liz currently conducts weekly scene study classes, coaches private students and lives with her husband, Joey. They have three sons, one fish and a dog.
