
JC Gafford
JC Gafford has been on the Los Angeles theater scene since 1986. He has degrees from L.A. Valley College (AA), California Institute of the Arts (BFA) and New York University (MA), all with honors. He is an award-winning director, designer and production stage manager as well as theater generalist who over the last 20+ years has worked with such notable people as Ronn Moss, Michael T. Weiss, Eartha Kitt, Earth Wind & Fire and Richard Kind and in such notable theaters as Theater 3 at LATC, Merkin Concert Hall and Provincetown Playhouse and many others. He is a dual certified (GE and CTE) educator working Gold Ribbon high school that was named in the top 9% of schools nationally by U.S. News and World Report. He is also a blues & funk recording artist who just released his first full-length CD called “Love Too Much.”
JC most recently appeared onstage at GRT as Inspector Bernard in Harold and Maude. He also wrote The Journey for GRT’s outdoor production of Motel 66. Prior to that JC directed Tennessee Williams’ The Strangest Kind of Romance UPSTAIRS at the Group Rep www.JCGafford.com
