Paul Elliott
Paul Elliott worked consistently in theater and television for over 40 years, as an actor, director, television writer, and producer. Upon retirement, he focused on becoming a published playwright – His first comedy, Ledge, Ledger and the Legend was recently honored as one of the 25 most highly produced one act plays in America. His first AACT award-winning comedy, Exit Laughing, has broken all house records for a non-musical in theatres across the country and in Europe. His play, Making Sweet Tea, and other secrets, (under the title TBD-To Be Determined) won his 2nd AACT award as well as a New York New Works of Merit award, and his Gentle Passage, based on the life of his husband, was the play chosen to open the first Hollywood Fringe Festival, and also won first place in the Chicago Pride Film and Play Festival . Paul channeled his many years of working with illusionists to create his poignant drama, Cries in the Night, also published by Dramatic Publishing. This play is a ghost story for the stage dealing with the ever-lasting effects of molestation. His two latest plays are comedies: Odd Man Out, and Right On Target. Both are now preparing for production.
