Angie Lin
Angie Lin is an actress born and raised in Taiwan. She moved to Los Angeles to study at USC School of Cinematic Arts, and started pursuing acting amidst an existential crisis post-graduation. Since then, she has appeared in 40 short films, 4 feature films, 10 episodes of TV show ‘The Plaza’ that is soon to be released, and a national Taco Bell commercial. Angie’s films have won a total of 23 awards, 4 of which were Best Actress awards.
In addition to the ever-growing list of film & TV, Angie is now branching out into theater, writing, voice-over and stunts. She participated in USC’s play Hi Mom as well as ArtCenter’s plays Dual Flowers and Imperfection. She wrote and directed her first dramedy short film ‘Inner Child’ in March 2024, and has 2 more action-comedy screenplays currently being produced. She plays Aida in an audio-drama ‘The Worst Parts’ – now available on all podcast platforms. She is a freestyle street dancer specialized in Locking, Whacking and Hip Hop, and has competed in several regional competitions with dance team Chaotic 3. She is also a vocalist who loves jazz and blues with a glass of whiskey neat.
Outside of The Group Rep, Angie trains with Gregory Berger-Sobeck, the founder of Berg Studio, and is a member of 87 North’s partnered program XMA Action. She is now getting a second college degree in Japanese language – on top of English, Mandarin and Taiwanese dialect that she already speaks.
