Matthew Clair
Matthew Clair returns to acting after twenty-two years teaching in the LAUSD. He studied acting at the Hedgerow Theater Company outside of Philadelphia and the Neighborhood Playhouse in NYC during the 1970s. He appeared in numerous productions in Philadelphia, NYC, and with the Actors Alley in Sherman Oaks during the 80s and early 90s.
TV appearances included “As The World Turns” and “General Hospital” as well as a National Commercial for Basic Four Cereal.
Last June he appeared as Frank Butley in Native Gardens at the Torrance Theater Company. Old Man in Fool for Love at the Sherry Theater in NOHO in 2019 and the summer of 2022 he appeared as Starveling in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and ensemble in Trouble the Water with the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum in Topanga Canyon.
He has appeared in several short films most notable “Every Day” which has play in festivals and Alzheimer Conferences throughout Europe.
