A native Californian, Diane has spent her whole life dedicated to the arts. Whether is be acting, singing, or dancing, at a young age, she was determined to have a career inspiring people through artistic endeavors and coaching. Starting as a musical theatre performer early on, she is now more focused on film and television work, where she feels she can reach more people, along with theatre, her first love.

Diane’s film credits include Lydia, the Angel of Romance in the feature film “Angels on Tap,” starring Ed Asner and Marion Ross. TV credits include Kathleen in The Treasured Moments Channel’s “South Bay’s Pacific Breeze,”  Starring in, writing and directing “Jasmine’s Charm,” a whimsical, magical comedy with Cineplex Studios. Other starring and featured roles include: “Order of the President,” “Solitaire,” and the Evil Empress Divina in the Sci-Fi Amazon Prime series, “Journey.”

Truly a triple threat, Diane has performed leading roles in such musicals as Carnival (Lili), 110 in the Shade (Lizzie), Company (April/Kathy), Man of La Mancha (Antonia) and Brigadoon (Jean). Other stage roles include Chapter Two (Jenny), Jake’s Women (Maggie) Rebecca’s Gamble (Rebecca), The Bedroom Window (Woman), The Death of Bessie Smith (Nurse), A Clearing in the Woods (Virginia) and Seduced (Luna). More recently she was seen on stage at Theatre 40 in the role of Pamela in One Moment of Freedom.

Other film work includes “Alone,” “Kingdom Come,” “Staying Alive,” and “Flashdance.” Television guest appearances include “Murder, She Wrote,” “Remington Steele,” “Knight Rider,” and “Hillstreet Blues.” Commercials include Kraft Parmesan Cheese and Jane Seymour’s Natural Advantange.

Diane was a principal ballet dancer at the Gene Marinaccio Ballet Company, and, as Director of Malibu Civic Ballet, she directed and choreographed the annual Nutcracker Ballet, at Smothers Theatre for five years, along with several original ballets and concert pieces. As a teacher at Pepperdine University, the owner of her own dance studio, and freelance coach, she has directed and trained many actors, dancers and singers who have gone on to have professional careers. As Director of her Centre Stage Musical Theatre Company, she especially loved directing Meet Me in St. Louis, Little Women, Annie Get Your Gun, Into the Woods and Les Miserables.

At GRT Diane was most recently seen in the role of Sharon in Poolside Therapy for the 2023 upstairs production of Motel 66. Previous GRT credits include Eichelberger in Promises, Promises, Harriet in To Grandmother’s House We Go, Diana in London Suite and as Evelyn Ross in The Journey for GRT’s outdoor production of Motel 66.
