Mimi Kmet

A native Angeleno, Mimi is an actor and writer. She has appeared in several theater productions, including My Trans Wife, which she also co-wrote and co-produced, and Bittersweet Oranges, as well as cabarets (Love, Actually and Winter Wishes) and Proud Out Loud shows for Pride month at Theatre West, where she’s also a company member.

Among other acting credits are short films, including “Matriarch,” which she also wrote, “Pinkberry: A Cautionary Tale,” “Tuesdays at 4” and “Liquid Soul Lite,” plus various other cabarets.

In addition, she created and produced Laughing Matters: The Absurdity of Intolerance, a live variety show, and has written and performed stand-up comedy.
