Amy Goldring

Amy Goldring is a Los Angeles-based actor and classically trained soprano. She holds a BFA in Acting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

Amy recently made her Group Rep debut in Drat! The Cat! as the Opera Singer, a Keystone Cop, and an ensemble member. Other recent credits include Joan in Save the Pier (directed by Paul Sand), Fran in A Christmas Carol in 60 Minutes at Hobgoblin Playhouse, and originating the role of Tara in I’m Sorry for Your Troubles by Aniello Fontano. She is also a proud member of Theatre West.

Her training includes method acting with Tim Crouse, Robert Ellerman, and Lola Cohen; vocal coaching with Bruce Baumer and Marla Jones; and movement and dance instruction from Jeffrey Ferguson and Michael Ryan.

A skilled musician, Amy plays both ukulele and guitar, and is certified in stage combat. In addition to acting, Amy is an accomplished vocalist. She recently won the 2024 NATS-LA Commercial Singing Competition (Adults) and placed third in the Musical Theatre category.
