April Audia
April Audia is a native New Yorker who has happily made Los Angeles her home. A graduate of LACC Theatre Academy, an amazing three year conservatory training program right here in the city of angels. Having performed in over seventy theatre productions from Los Angeles to New York and in between, theatre is the place she feels most at home.
A few productions that have her heart are Dancing at Lughnasa, Moon Over Buffalo, Gypsy, Desdemona, a Play About a Handkerchief, Godspell, A Piece of My Heart, Lend Me A Tenor, Side Man, Beehive (the musical),Life Support(for which she is listed in the Samuel French’s original cast) L.A. Now and Then (and is thrilled to be on the original cast album) and most recently Bleecker Street Brides (which had its off Broadway debut) and After All, a project that April wrote, directed and starred in that was developed and work shopped at the Artist Residency Chateau Orquevaux in France and went on to win Best Drama at Short & Sweet Festival 2024.
TV includes shows on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, Disney, Nickelodeon, shows such as “Nicky Ricky Dicky & Dawn,” “See Dad Run,” “The Bold and The Beautiful,” “Wizards of Waverley Place,” “Very Important Person” and most recently Tubi’s “Undead Mysteries” and Netflix’s “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA” that was filmed and sent out into the world live.
Recent films include, “Molar,” “Crooked,” “Fighting Chance” and “Snowbird” as well as starring in the Lifetime movie “Seduced” and the unexpected re-release on blu-ray of the slasher cult film “Night Ripper” a film April starred in many years ago that has given her the opportunity to do the Hollywood Convention for all those dedicated horror fans.
