Diana Angelina is originally from New Jersey and came to Los Angeles as a young Actress. She is First generation Italian American and loves to cook. She is a Veteran of Los Angeles Stages with more than 40 years of performing in Theatre, Film and TV, but Theatre is her blood.

She can currently be seen in The “(God)mother” Series on YouTube, “Girl’s Night In” which is a Feature Film on Prime and soon to be released in a staring role in the Feature Film “The Maginot Line.”

Most recently seen here at The Group Rep this June/July 2024 in the role of Barbara Kelly in Suzy London’s The Ghee Ghee Pik. Diana’s most recent Awards are the 2024 Lu Leonard Leading Actress Award in A Comedy for her performance of Daris in Doris and Ivy in the Home at Theatre 40. Stage Scene Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in the role of Christina Drayton in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner at Theatre 40 and Greystone Mansion. And NAACP Best Ensemble Nomination 2023/2024.

Favorite Past performances include her role as Theresa in Remembrance for which she won the 2014 LA WEEKLY LEADING FEMALE PERFORMANCE, Don Grigware Award, and Stage Scene Award. Also seen in Could I Have This Dance at Theatre 40, where she serves on The Artistic Committee.

Some of her favorite roles were Stephen Metcalfe’s The Tragedy of The Commons at The Ruskin Theatre, Mr. Williams and Miss Wood at The Chandler Studio and Separate Tables at Theater 40. She appeared in numerous  plays that were a joy to live in with great actors like Anthony Hopkins and others.

One month before Covid Shutdown, Diana completed two Cable Series, “Grounded” and “(God)mother.” Also, Commercials and Guest TV Appearances.  She has also performed Standup Comedy and has hosted over 800 Comedy Shows at J.R.’s Comedy Club in Valencia where she Opened for Larry Miller, Craig Shoemaker and Dave Coulier.  She studied Jazz, Ballet and Tap at Dupree Dance Academy. Favorite Teachers she studied with are Salome Jens, Stella Adler and Charles Conrad.
