Maria Kress is a member at both GRT and Theatre West.

She recently appeared as Florence Williams in The Curious Savage. Previous GRT credits include Harriet in To Grandmother’s House We Go, Evelyn Ross in The Journey for GRT’s outdoor production of Motel 66, Black Bow for GRT’s virtual production of Unhidden Figures and the role of Lola Henderson in Doug Haverty’s In My Mind’s Eye.

At Theatre West she was recently seen on stage in Aberration of Starlight by Chris DiGiovanni and performing in a staged reading of California Soul-A Descendant’s Story. Other Theatre West credits include performing in the ON THE AIR Players live radio drama production of It’s A Wonderful Life. Recent Zoom plays at Theatre West include The Comedy of Errors and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. 

Other favorite incarnations: Mary Haines in The Women, Meredith in Thicker than Water, Elizabeth in Not Relative and Jeannette in Without Annette.  

Whenever possible, Maria travels the globe in search of good food, good wine and great theatre !!!
