Michelle McGregor
Michelle McGregor is an actress, singer, and comedian with a passion for rock, horror, and Tom Waits. She received her MFA in Acting from the Yale School of Drama, and a BFA in Theatre from The College of Santa Fe. She can be seen live on stage fronting the indie rock band Solitary Friends, or screaming her face off in some horror movie that will likely never get released, but whose footage she much cherishes. Michelle’s life goal is to win the Guiness Book of World Records for “most on screen deaths,” but fears this may never happen as celebrities seem to be taking over all of the areas of this industry that once belonged to “no names”: horror, commercials, even theatre.
Her fondest theatre memory has been understudying Parker Posey in the world premiere of Will Eno’s The Realistic Joneses. A fabulous play, and amazing experience! Michelle is always excited to chat about Chekhov, Tennessee Williams, and A Serbian Film.
Her local theatre credits include Marian, or the True Tale of Robin Hood at Theatre of Note, and Listing at Theatre 40.
Her debut role at Group Rep is as Diana in Paddy Cheyefsky’s Network, and she is very much looking forward to audience reactions to the timely piece!
