Pablo Hamlin

Pablo Hamlin is a recent member of The Group Repertory, joining in 2024.

Pablo is originally from San Francisco and spent much of his life living in the Bay Area. He started his theatre training in high school and continued his studies at San Francisco State University. At San Francisco State, Pablo appeared Brian Friel’s Translations (Jimmy Jack), Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure (Provost), & Moliere’s The Learned Ladies (Vadius).

After graduating college, Pablo spent several years working in children’s theatre and became involved with organizations such as East Bay Children’s Theatre and Bay Area Children’s Theatre. His credits with those companies include Seussical the Musical (Mr. Mayor Of Whoville/Wickersham), Aladdin and the Magic Lamp (Bungle), and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show (Actor 2).

Pablo’s other theatre credits include Macbeth (Malcolm) at Theatre Lunatico, A Comedy of Errors (Antipholus of S & E) at San Francisco Shakespeare, & Robin Hood (Will Scarlett/Prince John/Friar Tuck) at Ross Valley Players.

Pablo moved down to Los Angeles in 2021 to further pursue theatre and study other forms of acting. Pablo fell in love with improv whilst received training at The Groundlings School. Pablo previously trained at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio for nearly a year and currently studies scene work at Crash Acting.

Pablo’s film work includes several vertical web series including, “After Divorce I Become Heiress,” and “My Puppet Wife,” both currently streaming on the Drama Box app.

When Pablo isn’t performing, he enjoys writing sketches, reading out in the sun, going to the movies, exploring museums, singing karaoke, learning Spanish, practicing dialect work, and much more. Pablo’s long-term goal is to learn to tap dance.
