Theresa Ford is a transplant from Philadelphia to Los Angeles where she has appeared in movies, sitcoms-and has appeared in many commercials. You can still see her “Put It In Your Cart” TJ Maxx commercial as a singer and an actress! (It’s on YouTube) Lol!

Theresa is a theater geek and has appeared in Hairspray as Motormouth Maybelle (Moorpark College), A Christmas Memory as Anna Stabler (Sierra Madre Playhouse), Ebenezer Creek, (Directed by Jeffery Polk) and several Don B Welch Productions notably Jan 2025 in Heaven Bound as Dutchess Davenport with Kenny Lattimore and Melba Moore.

She is also a member of The Group Rep Theatre in Noho and appeared on stage most recently as Rheba in the classic You Can’t Take It with You.

You can catch Theresa in a recurring role on Netflix’s “Family Reunion” as cousin Rosalyn Carter playing opposite Tia Mowry, Loretta Devine,Telma Hopkins and Richard Roundtree (what a dream!)

Theresa studies theatre and musical theater at Los Angeles Valley College.
