Koushik

Koushik was born and raised in India. He is an actor and a writer who also holds a Ph.D. in Human Genetics. He has a gift for comedy and studied improvisation and clowning at the Groundlings, UCB and IO West.Koushik is known for his roles in “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” “The Story of God with Morgan Freeman,” Dhar Mann Productions and a hugely popular web series, “Mani.” A short film that Koushik wrote and starred in, “Junk DNA,” won a prestigious REMI Award at World-Fest Houston International Film Festival. Koushik plays one of the lead roles in the comedy movie, “F-Listers.”

His stage credits include, You Can’t Take It With You (The Group Rep, NoHo), A Comedy of Tenors (Canyon Theatre Guild, Santa Clarita), West Bollywood (The Matrix, LA), Mark Twain’s Adam and Eve (Fremont Centre Theatre, Pasadena) and Sacrifice (Lillian Theatre, LA) by Tagore. A play written and starred by Koushik, The Naked Yogi, garnered high accolades at Hollywood Fringe Festival.
