Larry Toffler
Larry has worked in every arena in entertainment and production.
As an actor, he has appeared in a number of independent feature films, television shows, and commercials. He wrote and starred in the indy feature “5 Card Stud.”
He is also the co-author of the feature film “The Settlement” starring John C. Reilly and Kelly McGillis, which was based on Larry’s original play, Death Benefits. Other credits include the host of “Finders Keepers,” a news anchor, reporter, and field producer. He has appeared in and written for the stage, and has hosted almost every major live show on television, including the Academy Awards, the Emmys, the Kid’s Choice Awards, the X-Factor, and the Voice. (Those were all for rehearsal purposes as a stand-in, but he receives raves from the crews.)
When he’s not holding a microphone, Larry is busy working on his business Fantastic Race Los Angeles, (www.fantasticrace.com) a company he co-owns that produces highly elaborate and fun scavenger hunt-type events. Fantastic Race has events throughout Los Angeles, Catalina Island, St. Thomas, and Cozumel Mexico.
Larry did take a 20 year break from the stage, but has come back strong, appearing as Harold Hill in The Music Man, Applegate in Damn Yankees, J.D. in Hands on a Hardbody, and most recently at the GRT as Paul Sycamore in You Can’t Take it with You.
He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Southern California, is the proud father of a miraculous son, and has an ever-increasing 21 handicap.
Though he says he’s from New York City, in truth he is really from New Jersey… but right across the Hudson River from NYC; so really…
