Savannah Mortenson is a life-long actor and singer with a BA in Acting from the University of Northern Colorado.

She was most recently seen on stage at GRT as Sister in 45 Minutes And Counting for the 2025 upstairs production of Motel 66. Previous to that she made her Group Rep debut in Drat! The Cat!. as a Keystone Cop, Maid, and Ensemble member. Other favorite stage roles include Ma Joad in The Grapes of Wrath, King Richard III in Richard III, and a Witch in Macbeth.

Her work extends to film, with roles such as Amy in ‘Demon for Hire’, Michelle in ‘Only Seven Days’, and appearances in ‘Artie’, ‘Magnolia Breathes’, and ‘Drip’

Savannah’s training includes classical and contemporary acting styles and theories, Suzuki movement, and vocal training across a multitude of styles and genres. She was a 2019 KC/ACTF Irene Ryan nominee for her performance in UNCo’s The Grapes of Wrath. She looks forward to her continued exploration of compelling stories on stage and screen.
