LCGRT audiences last saw Van as Buford as Robish in The Desperate Hours. Prior credits include Buford in A Twisted Christmas Carol and Uncle Louie in Lost in Yonkers. He also played M. Boniface in Hotel Paradiso. In his native Louisiana, Van played Officer Mancuso in the original cast production of A Confederacy of Dunces under Tony winner Frank Galati, and Donnie in the Ensemble Theatre Company’s production of American Buffalo with Emmy winner Pruitt Taylor Vince.

Van most recently co-directed the workshop production of The Corn Monsters, and also wrote Venus Flytrap for GRT’s outdoor production Motel 66.
