Hudson Long

Born and raised in Durant, OK, Hudson Long grew up participating in community theatre with the local Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival’s Children’s Theatre and Teen Theatre programs. As a senior, he won an Oklahoma State Championship in Dramatic Duet.

After graduating high school in 2015, Hudson moved to Los Angeles. At 19, while studying at Santa Monica College and working in piano stores, he music directed and accompanied the six-month run of the musical Night at the Black Cat Cabaret at the Edgemar Center in Santa Monica, his first professional project. Shortly after, he was accepted to study acting under James Franco at Studio4 in North Hollywood. He then completed the two-year Meisner program at the Ruskin School of Acting in Santa Monica while simultaneously training at UCLA’s Professional Program in Acting for the Camera, later studying Producing the next year.

His first feature film role was Billy Powell, the legendary rock pianist in “Street Survivors: The True Story of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash,” followed by bro social media influencer Kris Dunhoffer in the award-winning short “Sergey’s Fortune.”

In late 2021, he returned to the stage in the parody A Fcked Up Christmas Carol at Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre, which led him to LA’s comedy scene. He joined the musical sketch group Fish Licks, writing and performing monthly at The Pack Theater for two years, plus appearances at Flappers Comedy Club, Burbank Comedy Festival, MILF Fest, and more. Hudson also had the honor of playing James in the live radio play All Shook Up for the 2022 Midsummer Scream at the Long Beach Convention Center.

In 2023, Hudson earned a B.A. in Liberal and Applied Studies with a concentration in Art from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, while still living in LA. During this time, he also played Schmendiman in the 16-week run of Steve Martin’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile at Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica, then performed in the crime thriller Life, Death, and Blankets, and the sketch show Milk, both back-to-back years at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. During this time, he also appeared in the award-winning shorts “Restrictions,” “Cut Off,” “The Diet,” as well as web-series “Forever a Clone,” “Tiny House,” and “Love XO.” He also appeared in roles on “People Magazine Investigates.”

In 2025, with the Group Rep, he played Harry Hunter in the west coast premiere of Network and Peter Patrone in the Pulitzer-winning The Heidi Chronicles, before officially joining the company that summer.
