Margaret Staedler

Margaret Staedler is a Burbank native and so excited to be a member of the Group Rep Theater! She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Rider University in Acting with minors in Dance and Gender/Sexuality Studies. She has been performing her whole life but also has a deep passion for scenic carpentry and has spent many summers in scene shops across the country. Set building led to set designing, but she uses her dance minor as a choreographer and honed her video editing skills when the world went virtual in 2020. In her spare time she loves playing her piano and teaching herself the banjo. Theater is her first love and she’s so grateful to be able to create it live again. Some of her favorite performance credits include: Dog Sees God (Van’s Sister), Rabbit Hole (Izzy), Hamlet (Guildenstern), Heathers: The Musical (H. Duke), and The 25th…Spelling Bee (Logainne).

Margaret was most recently seen on stage at GRT as Sharon in Can’t Live Without ‘Em. Prior to that she appeared onstage at GRT in The Laramie Project, the 2022 production of Christmastime Origins and L.A. Now and Then. She also served as the set designer for GRT’s production of The Desperate Hours.
