Sylvie Wiley
Sylvie Wiley is a Los Angeles-born actress, singer-songwriter, and vocal coach with dual U.S./U.K. citizenship. After moving to London in 2016 to study music and acting, she spent eight years working between the two cities before returning home to L.A.
She holds a BA in Popular Music from Goldsmiths, University of London and trained with some incredible acting programs and coaches, including Spotlight’s The Unseen Acting School (London), The National Youth Theatre, as well as private one-on-one work with the late Jeannie Hackett, and on-camera training with Risa Bramon Garcia in L.A.
Her most recent stage performance was at The Group Rep Theatre as Katy in Wildorado, part of the Motel 66 plays in 2025. Other stage highlights include playing Sally Bowles in Cabaret, a dream role that pushed her emotionally, musically, and personally.
On screen, Sylvie has appeared in the short film “Breaking Blood” and in several music videos, including her own (Medicine Works) and collaborations with UK-based artists.
Alongside acting, Sylvie is a singer-songwriter. She released her debut EP “Should Have Seen This One Coming” in 2020—recorded entirely on 2-inch tape—followed by her 2025 single “Stranger in My Sheets,” a shift into more pop-forward storytelling while still staying true to her emotional, lyric-driven roots.
She’s currently co-writing a feature film that brings together her two creative worlds—music and film—an ambitious project now seeking financing and a production team.
Sylvie is passionate about telling honest, emotionally grounded stories—whether they’re on stage, screen, or in a song. For her, acting is about connection, vulnerability, and finding truth in someone else’s shoes. She’s also a vocal coach and loves helping other performers find their voice.
She has a wide accent range, including multiple British dialects (RP, Cockney, London) as well as Irish and American regional accents (Southern, East Coast, Midwest).
Sylvie is currently represented by McCaffrey Talent.
